Thank you for your interest in donating to the Daytona Beach Vegetarian Society.

We do not require any type of membership dues, like most such groups do. We do this because we want everyone, regardless of income level to be able to learn about vegetarianism and feel a part of a vegetarian community.

However, we do incur monthly expenses, that thus far, have come out of our own pocket. The expenses that the group incurs on a monthly basis includes such things as:

• hosting and maintaining this website
• purchasing food and supplies for monthly events
• buying or renting movies to show at monthly events
• helping to cover travel expenses for guest speakers
• obtaining items to give away, such as cookbooks and vegetarian literature
• having items with our group name, such as a banner, business cards, etc.

While there is certainly no obligation to make a donation in order to help us with our vegetarian outreach efforts, all donations are greatly appreciated. And, 100 percent of all donations go directly into local vegetarian awareness outreach events.
